## ==== Purpose ====
##
## This test checks if the immediate_commit_timestamp (ICT) and the
## original_commit_timestamp (OCT) are generated and replicated correctly in
## transations originated both inside and outside the group, with the following
## replication topology: server1 -> group -> server4 (server2, server3 and
## server5 are members of the group, with server2 setup as slave of server1).
## server5 will only be added to the group after all transactions have been
## executed to verify that the timestamps were propagated correctly from the
## donor.
## The test also checks if the queueing_transaction and last_queued_transaction
## fields are cleared from the group_replication_recovery channel after the
## member is online.
## The test also check that the last_applied_transaction is in the correct state
## for both channels when a server joins a group.

## ==== Implementation ====
##
## Considering the previously mentioned replication chain, we make the following
## assertions:
## 1) original_commit_timestamp is the same across all servers
## 2) On the original server, original_commit_timestamp = immediate_commit_timestamp.
## (unless the transaction was originated inside the group).
## 3) the immediate_commit_timestamp increases as we go down in the topology
## (not applicable between group members).
## This assertions are performed in two examples of DDL statements and three
## different DML statements.
